Comparator

The comparator works with an input whose data format can be parameterised, and
with a 1-bit output to output the result of the comparison operation. The comparator
compares the value received at the input with a configured reference value and eval-
uates whether the reference is correct (result = true) or not (result = false) according
to the specified reference function.
The reference function and the reference value are configured in the ETS.
The parameter "data format" defines the size and format of input object according to
the following table. The output object is preset to 1-bit (DPT 1.002) and outputs the
result of the comparison operation (ON = true / OFF = false). The reference value
that can be set in the ETS adapts to the input data format.
Data format
4-bit dimming
1-byte operating mode switchover
1-byte scene extension
1-byte value 0...255
1-byte brightness value 0...100%
2-byte value 0...655535
2-byte value -32768...32767
2-byte floating-point number
4-byte value -2147483648...2147483647 13,001
The following table shows the possible reference functions (I = input value, R = refer-
ence value).
Reference function
equal (I = R)
unequal (I ≠ R)
greater than (I > R)

Function
The comparator output is "ON" (true) if the input is equal to
the reference value. Otherwise the output is "OFF" (false).
The comparator output is "ON" (true) if the input is unequal
to the reference value. If the input value is equal to the ref-
erence value, the output is "OFF" (false).
The comparator output is "ON" (true) if the input is greater
than the reference value. If the input value is less than or
equal to the reference value, the output switches
"OFF" (false).
