Not all jam code combinations are documented in this manual, only the codes that
occur most commonly.
Jam Code Troubleshooting Procedures
Deskew sensor in unexpected state during mechanical recovery.

Check the drum maintenance unit NVRAM contacts during the oiling process

Ensure the paper guides are snug against the media in the tray.

Push up on Tray 2 - 4 nudger roller until it is captured by actuator arm.

Run the following diagnostic tests, Deskew Flag, Tray {2-4} Pick Clutch and the

Tray {2-4} Solenoid.
Ensure ground integrity of the system (see page 4-73).
5.
Verify all doors and covers are fully closed and not moving during printing.
6.
Replace the Tray 2 - 4 pick clutch.
7.
Replace the retard roller.
8.
Replace the preheater.
9.
Deskew Sensor time-out event during an auto drum maintenance cycle.
