3.) Using a pliers, carefully remove the battery from the BEP as shown in
(observe that the positive pole is facing upwards).

BIOS Battery Replacement Procedure

1.) Insert the replacement BIOS battery in its slot in the BEP.
NOTICE
IMPORTANT - Make sure the positive pole is facing UPWARDS!
2.) Return the BEP to its location in the Vivid S60N/Vivid S70N scanner cage and complete the BEP
installation procedure:
• BEP Installation Procedure on page 8 - 97
3.) Turn ON the system and boot-up.
4.) Adjust to the correct date and time settings - see
