Battery Installation Procedure

THE Vivid™ S60/Vivid™ S70 BATTERY HAS A SAFETY DEVICE.
WARNING WARNING
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DIS-ASSEMBLE OR ALTER THE BATTERY!
Always observe the precautions listed in
1 - 22.
USE ONLY BATTERIES APPROVED BY GE HEALTHCARE AS SUITABLE FOR USE WITH THE
CAUTION
Vivid™ S60/Vivid™ S70 ULTRASOUND SCANNER
1) Insert a replacement battery into the battery compartment as shown in
Figure 8-177 Installation of Battery in AC Distribution Box Compartment
2.) Make sure the battery is properly inserted all the way.
3) Return the two securing screws (previously removed) -
4) Refit the AC Distribution Box cover:

5.) Turn ON power to the Vivid™ S60/Vivid™ S70 ultrasound scanner.
