INSPECTION

Check parts for cracks, corrosion or any other de-
fault. Also check engine supports. Replace dam-
aged part as necessary.

INSTALLATION

Installation is the reverse procedure of removal.
However, pay attention to the following.
Align shift lever dot with flat surface on shift shaft.

Reconnect battery cables.

Step 1: Positive first
Step 2: Negative last
Refill cooling system. Refer to COOLING SYS-
TEM.
Refill engine with oil. Refer to LUBRICATION
SYSTEM.
Check throttle and choke cables adjustment. Re-
fer to FUEL SYSTEM.
