Subsection 01 (ENGINE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION)

Remove radiator cap.
Drain engine coolant. Drain plug is located on wa-
ter pump cover.
NOTE: Use a container to recover coolant. Dis-
pose coolant as per environmental laws.

Disconnect coolant inlet hose.

Disconnect engine temperature sensor, bypass
hose and coolant outlet hose.

Disconnect engine vent tube.

Remove engine sprocket. Refer to REAR SUS-
PENSION AND AXLE.
Remove shift lever bolt then pull out lever.
