Remove battery retaining plate and battery. Refer
to CHARGING SYSTEM.

Remove bolts securing rear fender to frame.

Disconnect starting solenoid connectors then re-
move the BLACK wire from the solenoid.

Remove starting solenoid from vehicle.
Unlatch the fuse box from fender.
Slide fuse box and wires through the fender open-
ing.
Disconnect rear light.
Lift rear fender and remove it.
Installation
The installation is the reverse of removal proce-
dure.
