4.2.4 Inserting data
(1) Operation method

CHAPTER 1 SCREEN OPERATIONS

Move the cursor to the
position where data is to be
written.

Press the
INSERT
key.

Set the data.

When the setting is
completed, press the

(Note 1) The data is not saved in the NC memory at this point. (It will be erased when the
power is turned OFF.)

4. Edit Screens
The insertion mode is entered.
INS appears at the top of the screen.
The message "Editing" appears when setting is started.
The data is set from the position of the cursor. Data at
the area is overwritten.
The cursor moves one space to the right as the data is
set.
The set data is fixed.
The cursor does not move, but if there is no EOB ( ; ) at
INPUT
the end of the line, it will be added. Then, the cursor
moves to the next line.
The move returns to the overwrite mode, and the
message "Editing" disappears.
(The message may not disappear depending on the
"Program save type".)
