While continuing pure water injection, click the [Auto-Zero]
button in the toolbox to turn the baseline to zero.

The [Auto Zero] button on the spectrophotometer main unit
may also be used.

When [Ready] appears on the instrument monitor bar,
inject STD sample 1 and click [Start] button in the toolbox.
If the delay time is preset, click [Start] button immediately
after injection of the sample. If the delay time is set to [0],
inject the sample for a few seconds, make sure the
absorbance is stabilized and click [Start].

The [Start] button on the spectrophotometer main unit may
also be used.
NOTES: 1.
If no sample is set, the [Start] button is shown
grayed out and the measurement cannot be
started.
2.
Use a capillary tube (small) when measuring an
organic solvent sample.
The status is displayed during measurement (Fig. 3-34).
The presently ongoing item ("delay" in this figure) and the
progress time of the ongoing item ("0s" in the figure) are
displayed after "Measuring" in this order. The set time of
the ongoing item ("10s" in the figure) is then shown after
"/."
