5.5 Twin Injection

5.5 Twin Injection
The twin injection is designed to inject samples through two
injection inlets by using Pyrotube D HR for measurement. It
splits samples in two for injection, enabling you to enlarge the
contact area between the samples and the cuvette surface. You
can reduce the drying time and the incineration time as this
method improves the heat conductive efficiency. You can expect
improved absorption sensitivity in measuring high-melting point
elements such as Mo and V, etc.
(1)
Set up a Pyrotube D HR and set the cuvette type on
[Analytical condition] window to "Pyrotube D HR"(Fig. 5-21).

(2)
Set a sample volume to be injected on the [Autosampler]
window. Inject half the volume configured into each port of
the Pyrotube D HR (if 20μL is specified, inject 10μL each
for the total of 20μL).
(3)
See "3. Measurement with Conditions Input" for setting
other measurements.
