5.12 Restoring Data Lost due to a Power Failure

If a power failure occurs during measurement, the data being
measured will be lost. In the ZA3000, measurement data
attained before occurrence of a power failure is saved in a
temporary backup file. Using the temporary backup file, you
can restore the measurement data at the time of power recovery.
To restore the measurement data, execute the following
procedure:
(1)
In the [Tools] menu, click [Restore Backup Data].
(2)
A dialog box appears for inquiry. Clicking [Yes] will open
the [Save As] dialog box. Input an appropriate file name
and click the [Save] button. Now, the temporary data is
saved formally under the selected file name.
(3)
Open the Data Process window. In the [File] menu, click
the [Open Data File], open the file saved in (2) and check
the contents.
NOTES: 1.
Following a power recovery and after the restart of
the AAS software, the restoration of the backup
file must happen before verification of any
analytical conditions. Once conditions have been
verified, the temporary file will be deleted and
cannot be restored.
2.
The temporary file can be restored only when
measurement is forcibly terminated due to power
interruption or the like.
When you click [No] for the inquiry about your
intention of file saving in the usual program closing
process, the data will be deleted and cannot be
restored.
