5.7 Sample Bumping Detection

5.7 Sample Bumping Detection
You can identify the behavior of the sample signal and the
reference signal in the drying stage of the measurement
(including automatic creation of the temperature program) and
mark with "P" measurement values of samples with possible
bumping.
Open [Analytic conditions] window and mark the "Bumping
Detection of the Sample" (See Fig. 5-29).

NOTE:
This detection is designed to assign with "P" when the
values of the sample signal and the reference signal
exceed a certain value against the noise of each signal.
If detected, you can assume that the heating
temperature or the temperature gradient in the drying
stage is high relative to the sample measured.
Possible corrective actions include lowering the ending
temperature or extending the time of increased
temperature in the drying stage to reduce the gradient.
