3.1 Generation of Measurement Conditions
Hold Time
The end temperature can be held for the set time.
Input range
Dry .................... 0 to 100 s
Ash .................... 0 to 100 s
Atomize ............. 1 to 20 s
Clean ................. 1 to 20 s
Cool ................... 12 to 100 s
NOTE:
The limits on the ramp time and hold time vary with the
temperature program developed and are dependent on the
temperature of the cuvette in one measurement session.
Set the limits to meet the following criteria.
1500C≦Cuvette temperature <2000C
2000C≦Cuvette temperature <2500C
2500C≦Cuvette temperature <2800C
2800C≦Cuvette temperature
Gas Flow
Specifies the flow rate of carrier gas. For stages other
than atomization, set 200 mL/min usually for purging
solvent vapor and sample vapor. In the atomizing
stage, absorption sensitivity is enhanced by increasing
atomic vapor density at a reduced gas flow rate. The
carrier gas is passed through to protect the cuvette. If
the gas flow rate is set to a low value, the life of the
cuvette will be reduced.
Input value: 0, 10, 30, 200 mL/min
