When you want to use results in other Windows program such
as spreadsheet software, the result data need to be output from
the [Report Format] window as in "4.4.2 Printout of Result."
Selectable output formats are Text File, Excel File and

Customize by MS Excel.

(1) Click [Report Format] in the [Data] menu or click the
[Report Format] button
Format dialog box will appear.
(2) Click the [Normal Form] radio button and turn on the check
boxes of the necessary items.
(3) In "Output to," select the radio button of [Text File] or [Excel
File] by clicking.
(4) Click the button at the right of the selected radio button,
and specify file location and file name for output.
Then, click the [Open] button for setting your selections. No
file is available at this point as a file name to be generated
is configured.
(5) Click the [Output] button at the bottom of the [Report
Format] window, and the file will be output to the specified
location. Confirm the folder and files configured in (4).
Data can be output to Microsoft Excel in the same image as on a
printer and output items can be rearranged freely.
However, use of this function requires Excel 2003 or later
version. This program must be purchased separately.
The customized reporting function is intended for persons
familiar with PC operations since a rather high level of operating
skill is required.
(1) For generating a report, copy the Excel template.
The template file exists as TEMPLATE.xls (Microsoft Excel
worksheet) at the installing destination of the atomic
absorption spectrophotometer application (usually C:/
ZAas). Copy the file into an appropriate folder or the like
using the Explorer.
