3.4 Wavelength Adjustment
Before start of measurement, turn on the hollow cathode lamp
and carry out wavelength adjustment. Even if this procedure is
skipped, it will be automatically implemented at start of
measurement. However, stabilization of lamp energy takes
about 5 to 15 minutes, so this procedure should be implemented
here.

In the Monitor window, click the [Set Conditions] button
on the toolbar to open the Set Conditions dialog box.

Check that the element to be measured first has been
selected (indicated in blue), then click [OK] button. Check
that the [Lamp No.] matches the number of the socket of
the hollow cathode lamp. Check that the lamp surface is
free of dust and dirt

In the status column of instrument monitor bar, [Set
Conditions...] is now displayed, and the specified lamp
turns on and measuring wavelength is set. When multiple
analyte elements are set, the next lamp also will be turned
on to warm up.
Condition setting requires about 1 to 3 minutes.
When [Ready] appears in the status column, this step is
completed.
