3.8 Memorizing Optical Temperature Control Equation

2.
Clean the cuvette when needed. Unnecessary
cleaning may lead to the degradation of the
cuvette.
Cuvette heating under optical temperature control is intended to
memorize the intensity of the light emitted from the cuvette at
each temperature and to control heating so as to match the light
intensity. It should be performed individually on each different
cuvette type to obtain calibration data for the type. The relational
expression is not memorized for a cuvette type that is used for
the first time. If this is the case, click [Calibrate GA Optical
Temperature Control] in the [Instrument Control] menu to
memorize the relational expression.
In atomization under the optical temperature control, once the
equation is memorized, atomization temperature is always kept
at a constant level (emission intensity) despite a change in
cuvette resistance.
Since the relationship has been memorized before shipment
from the factory, it needs not to be memorized frequently by user.
Memorization is required once in a few months or half-yearly
because the emission intensity received by the detector may
differ due to change of the instrument with time.
In this case, be sure to use the Pyro Tube HR, Pyro Tube C HR
or Tube HR.
Memorization of the equation involves heating for about 2
minutes.
