Do Not Touch Hot Parts!
There is a danger of burns upon touching heated parts. Be
sure to grasp the white resin part of the cover to open the
cover of the graphite furnace.
(1) Turn ON the respective power switches of the PC and
peripheral devices such as printer that are connected to the
instrument.
(2) Turn ON the power switch on the front right of the atomic
absorption spectrophotometer (Fig. 1-3). Then, start up the
PC.

NOTE: After the spectrophotometer power is turned ON, the
instrument is initialized (for about 15 seconds). Start
up the PC or start the atomic absorption
spectrophotometer software after the initialization to
enable the communication with the PC.
