3.5 Preparation for Autosampler
NOTES: On Measurement of Organic Solvent Sample
1.
Organic solvent samples usable for this instrument
are limited to ethyl alcohol, methyl alcohol,
acetone and methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) as a
rule. When using organic solvents, the packing
used for syringe will be deteriorated earlier.
2.
For measuring an organic solvent sample, a
solvent capable of dissolving the sample is
necessary for rinsing. Use of the same solvent
as the sample is desirable. Use combination with
another solvent if necessary.
3.
In measurement of an organic solvent, flow cut
performance of the nozzle tip is much poorer than
with aqueous solution.
Therefore, reproducibility may be degraded.
4.
In measurement of an organic solvent, sample
absorbance is apt to change due to evaporation of
the solvent.
So measurement should be terminated in a
shorter time.
