Terminal Calibration

The Modem must be in either the NCW mode or Maintenance Mode in order to conduct
the calibration.
There are three methods to entering Terminal Calibration Data:
File Entry
Manual Entry
Nominal Entry
The File Entry method allows the user to enter data from a file. The file may be provided
by the equipment (BUC, PA or Antenna) manufacturer, or derived from Manual Entry.
The Manual Entry method allows the user to enter measured data points for any
characterized piece of equipment. The data entered using Manual Entry may be saved
as a file so it can be used subsequently via the File Entry method.
Nominal Entry method allows the user to enter a fixed gain and loss value for the BUC,
PA, Antenna and losses.
