8.7.5 NCW Path Loss Tab

This NC only page provides Path Loss statistics for the network. The NC automatically
applies adaptive data-rate and power control to accommodate changing link quality
conditions. This page allows you to monitor the fade conditions in the network.
NOTE
This Tab is only available when the system is connected to the Satellite.

The computed uplink and downlink losses, and the estimated clear sky losses, allow
you to compare computed link conditions with the observed link conditions, and to
troubleshoot parameter errors at the NC. For more information on how to troubleshoot
this, refer to Section 13.4.
