l. Set MPM Unit Id. Record the Unit Id and CDU IP address for use later in the
procedure.
m. Set the MASTER CDU Port IP. This is set to the Master Modem CDU IP address
that the HCI connects to control the stack.
n. Set the SLAVE CDU Port IP. This will change the CDU IP address of the slave.
o. Set the Modem Name. This field will give the Slave Modem a name. This is
important when dealing with more than one (1) slave.
p. Select OK.
q. Power Off the slave.
r. Repeat steps j through q for each additional slave.
s. Ensure all Modems are powered off and are plugged into the network switch.
t. Power on all Modems.
u. Select Configure → Modem Stack.
