d. Click Save.
e. A pop-up window will appear, select NO to keep the HCI at the default address.

f. Turn off the Modem; this will be the Master Modem of the stack.

6.4.4 Configure Slave Modem

a. Connect the Slave Modem to the network switch.
b. Turn on the Slave Modem, wait until Modem Status LED has turned green.
c. Set Slave Modem in Maintenance Mode. See Section 6.4.2
d. Select Modem Tab. (See Figure 6-16 Configure Modem Screen)
e. Set Frequency Reference to 10MHz External. The System will show alarms and
HW status box will go red once the external frequency reference is selected.
