14.3.2.4 TX Intermediate Frequency Monitor Interface
The Modem provides a TX Intermediate Frequency Monitor output that meets the
performance specifications given in Table 14-5. This output contains the same L-Band
TX signal transmitted on the primary TX IF Interface, attenuated by 30 dB +/- 2 dB. The
TX IF Monitor does not contain the 10 MHz reference signal and DC component present
in the primary TX IF Interface.
This interface is located on the front panel J13 connector.

14.3.2.5 Modem RX Intermediate Frequency Input Interface
The Modem has an L-Band RX Intermediate Frequency input that meets the
performance specifications given in Table 14-6. In addition to supporting the receive IF
signal, this interface is capable of sourcing a 10-MHz sinusoidal reference signal. This
interface is also capable of sourcing a DC voltage. It is possible to disable both the
reference signal and DC power outputs at this interface.
For SCPC operation, this RX IF interface complies with the performance specified in
Paragraph 5.2.1, IF Input, of MIL-STD-188-165A.
This interface is located on the rear panel J8 connector.
