Save/Save As Configuration

The Save Configuration dialog appears when you request to save a configuration file for
the Modem.
Refer to Table 5-2 Save Configuration for data descriptions for this window.
a. Type in a description in the Description Field.
b. Select the items that you wish to save in this configuration in the Save Options
field.
c. Select Save. Once Save has been selected a Save As (See Figure 5-13) screen
will appear.
d. Name the configuration file and select Save.

Table 5-1 File Configuration

Saves the active configuration using the same configuration description and
file name.
Saves the active configuration using a new configuration description and file
name. The Save Configuration dialog will be displayed to allow you to enter a
new description and options.
Restores the Modem to a previous configuration. You select a saved
configuration file (*.xml file). A Restore Configuration dialog will be displayed to
allow you to select specific options and Modem mode after restoring the
configuration.
Exits the HCI application. Note: Exit stops the HCI application only, the MPM-
1000 Modem will continue to run.

Accepts up to 255 characters for description of the Modem configuration.
Current NCW name (Node Name) for the Terminal that will be saved if
selected.
Current Latitude/Longitude of the Terminal will be saved if selected.
