To loose the unit from the placing platform,

Grasp and hold the unit, let it slightly tilted towards your direction,
and then put the unit flat on the cart guide, and ensure the front of
the unit is closely to the baffle of the cart guide.

Push down the locking lever to lock the unit. Lifting the unit gently
verifies its locked.
Raise the locking lever to unlock the unit.
