Description
Enables the adjustment of the probe's operating fre-
quency. The selected frequency is displayed in the status
window. For some probes/applications the lowest fre-
quency settings will be Octave imaging settings.
Enable a mirror image of the 2D image to be created. The
reference marker W moves correspondingly to the other
side of the image. Up/Down is available in both Live and
Freeze.
Flips the 2D image 180 degree. Left/Right is available in
both Live and Freeze.
Controls the size or angular width of the 2D image sector.
A small width corresponds to a higher frame rate.
Description
Enables control of the dynamic range or contrast of the
image. When dynamic range is set high, the image is
softer.
Controls the speckle noise suppression of the image.
Controls the extent of the edge-enhancement processing
applied to an image.
Controls the time-domain correlations to suppress image
noise.
Gray scale map can improve image contrast resolution,
noise suppression, and display effects. Map is available in
both Live and Freeze.
Control and adjust the image tint. Tint is available in both
Live and Freeze.
Controls the amount of acoustic power applied in all
modes. When power is set to maximum, it is equal to or
less than the maximum acoustic power permitted by the
FDA. When power is reduced, the signal-to-noise ratio
decreases, resulting in potentially noisier image.
Description
Adjusted by the knob below the TGC on the control panel.
When rotated clockwise, increases the overall gain applied
to the received echo signals equally for all depth.
