When the probe is connected, it is automatically activated. User can deacti-
vate the probe by pressing the Freeze key.
Disconnecting the probe
The probe can be disconnected at any time. It's recommended that the
probe should be deactivated before disconnecting. The operation is execut-
ed with the following steps:

Lift the connector locking lever upwards to the absolute horizontal
position to lock it in place (See Figure 3-6).

Carefully position the probe cord so that it can be free to move.
Fault conditions can result in electric shock hazard. Do not touch the
surface of probe connectors which are exposed when the probe is
CAUTION
removed. Do not touch the patient with probe when connecting or dis-
connecting the probe.
Do not bend the probe cable acutely.
CAUTION
Freeze the image by pressing the Freeze key.
Press the connector locking lever down to unlock the connector.
