Performing a study

Click Add to list button.
Click OK button to close the Search criteria window.
In the Dataflow sheet, select the DICOM device to verify the connec-
tion.
Click Check button. The verification process may takes several sec-
onds. A green check mark is displayed in front of the DICOM device
if the verification is successful. A red cross is displayed in front of the
DICOM device if the verification failed.
Press Config-Diag key on the control panel to open the Preset dia-
log window, select the Patient category, then select the DataFlow
sub-group tab. The DataFlow preset sheet will be displayed.
Select the DICOM dataflow.
Click the OK button to save.
A: Online Scanner
Create a new patient and perform the examination. During the
STEP 1
examination images are temporarily stored in the local buffer
of the system.
At the end of the study press Patient key on the Control panel,
STEP 2
and select the End Exam button. The images are transferred to
the server via the DICOM spooler.
Press ALT+S to display the DICOM JOB SPOOLER window (DI-
STEP 3
COM Job Spooler details please refer to the section "DICOM
JOB SPOOLER" (p 266)).
B: Offline Scanner
When working offline the images are stored in the DICOM spooler. Im-
ages can be sent to the DICOM server after re-connecting the system to
the network.
To save images acquired offline on the DICOM server:
After the scanner reconnected, press ALT+S to display the DI-
