Strain Rate Imaging Mode

Strain Rate Imaging Mode Overview
Strain Rate Imaging Mode (SRI for short) allows the observation of the speed
and characteristics of tissue shift.

Select LVRej to remove low velocity blood flow and tissue movement
to improve image quality.
Select Freq. to optimize the color flow display. Higher settings improve
resolution. Lower settings improve depth penetration and sensitivity.
Select Power to obtain an acceptable image using the lowest setting
possible.
Use Priority to emphasize either the color flow overlay, or the detail of
the underlying gray scale tissue.
Use Persist to enhance the sensitivity of the signal's correlation in the
time domain.
Use Radial Avg. and Lateral Avg. to reduce noise in the color flow area.
