Optimizing AMM Mode
Preset generally provides optimal performance with minimal adjustment. If
necessary, the following controls can be adjusted to further optimize the
AMM Mode display:
Note: All the controls listed above will also affect the 2D image.

Description
Display more Main menu controls: AMM, TDI (phased
array probe).
From 2D Live, press Alt key on the control panel.
Select AMM to access AMM mode.
Use the trackball to position the cursor over the required area of the
image.
Press Set key on the control panel to rotate the AMM sampling line.
The sampling line has free rotation throughout the 2D image.
Rotate the AMM sampling line to the desired direction.
Press Set key on the control panel and scrolling the trackball to re-
position the intersection point to the desired position along the
sample line.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 to change the angle of the solid sample line if
necessary.
Note: When there are multiple cursors, activate either cursor by press-
ing Update/Menu on the control panel.
Select Sweep to optimize the display resolution.
Select Gain and TGC controls to adjust the range to be imaged.
Use the Freq. (increase frequency) to increase resolution in image.
Use the Freq. (decrease frequency) to increase penetration.
