Using M Mode
In 2D mode press M key on the control panel, M mode will start to sweep.
Optimizing M Mode
Preset gives optimum performance with minimum adjustment. If necessary,
the following controls can be adjusted to further optimize the M-Mode dis-
play:
Note: All the controls listed above will also affect the 2D image.

Description
Adjusting the depth will influence diagram frame rate and
resolution, Decreasing the depth may allow for higher
frame rate and lower resolution. Increasing the depth will
increase image resolution and decrease frame rate.
Display more Main menu controls: AMM, TDI (phased
array probe).
Select Sweep to optimize the display resolution.
Select Gain and TGC controls to adjust the range to be imaged.
Use the Freq. (increment frequency) to increase resolution in image.
Use the Freq. (decrement frequency) to increase penetration.
Select Focus Pos. to move the focal point(s) around the region of inter-
est in the M-Mode display.
Select DR to optimize Dynamic Range.
