Unit Cleaning

Frequent and diligent cleaning of Portable Ultrasound Diagnostic Scanner
can reduce the risk of infection spreading from person to person, and also
help to maintain a clean working environment.
The General Cleaning of the Portable Ultrasound Diagnostic Scanner covers
the following contents:

Note: In the event that disinfection is required or any stubborn stains remain,
remove them with a soft, dust-free cloth with a small quantity of isopropyl rub-
bing alcohol.

To avoid the risk of electric shock, please turn the system off before
CAUTION
cleaning.
To avoid static electricity impact and ultrasound system damage, do
CAUTION
not use spray cleaners on the ultrasound system.
Do not use any solution containing abrasive powder or strong chemi-
CAUTION
cals such as acid or alkaline.
Do not spray any liquid directly onto system covers, LCD display or key-
CAUTION
board.
Turn off the ultrasound system's power, and unplug the power cord
from the wall outlet.
Moisten a soft, non-abrasive folded cloth or sponge with a mild,
general-purpose, non-abrasive soap and water solution.
Squeeze excess liquid from the cloth/sponge, then wipe down the
top, front, back and both sides of the unit
Rinse the cloth or sponge with clean water and wipe the unit surfac-
es again.
Use a dry, soft, lint-free cloth to dry the unit surfaces.
Wait for the unit surfaces to dry completely.
