Elastography Image Mode

Elastography Image Mode Overview
The Elastography Image Mode (EI) allows the observation of characteristics
such as elasticity, density and shift in tissue.
142
Description
Adjusted by the knob below the TGC on the control panel.
When rotated clockwise, increases the overall gain applied
to the received echo signals equally for all depth.
Compensates for depth-related attenuation in an image.
The sliders nearest the operator affect the far field. TGC
amplifies returning signals to compensate for the attenua-
tion caused by tissue at increasing depths.
Adjusting the depth will influence diagram frame rate and
resolution. Decreasing the depth may allow for higher
frame rate and lower resolution. Increasing the depth will
increase image resolution and decrease frame rate.
Enables multiple image display windows in which two or
four images can be viewed simultaneously.
Displays Simultaneous parameter.
