Description
Enables the low velocity portions of the spectrum to be fil-
tered, since the Doppler spectrum and audio may contain
strong wall-motion signals. The scale value may affect FPS
and LVRej. The selected scale is displayed in the status
window.
Insulates the Doppler signal from excessive noise caused
from vessel movement.
Toggles the display arrangement to define relative dimen-
sions of the 2D area, TVD mode area, and their position
which is top/bottom, side to side and Full PW. Layout is
available in live and Freeze.
Calculates the relevant measurement of one heart cycle
automatically.
Enables correction of the Doppler velocity scale by defin-
ing the angle between the Doppler beam and investi-
gated blood vessel or blood flow. A thin cross bar on the
Doppler cursor will rotate as the control is adjusted. Quick
angle adjusts the angle by 60 degrees.
Adjusts the baseline to accommodate faster or slower
blood flows to eliminate aliasing.
Tracings maximum or average trajectory of the spectrum
Description
Adjusts the transmission frequency in Doppler to control
sensitivity or level of penetration. Adjusting Freq. may
affect Scale and LVRej settings. The selected Freq. is dis-
played in the status window.
Enables undesirable background noise to be removed
from the Doppler spectrum resulting in a darker back-
ground. Rejection is available in Live and Freeze.
Enables control of the dynamic range or contrast of the
image. When dynamic range is set high, the image is
softer and more low-level data is visible.
Sets the longitudinal size of the region to be sampled for
measurement.
Estimates the flow velocity in a direction at an angle to the
Doppler vector by computing the angle between the
Doppler vector and flow to be measured.
Display different Doppler colorization maps. Map is avail-
able in Live and Freeze.
Controls the adjustment of Doppler spectrum tint. Tint is
available in live and Freeze.
