Time Measurement
Function: To measure the time interval between two vertical measurement
marks.
Refer to Velocity Measurement for its measuring methods.

Special Measurement

Special measurements and calculations refer to the measurements and cal-
culations of various specific exam items, including urology, cardiology,
emergency, small parts, musculoskeletal, vascular, abdomen, gynaecology
and obstetrics. The system will store the measurement and calculated re-
sults into the worksheet and report.
Special Measurement shares a similar operating method with general mea-
surement, but the specific measurement items can be selected from the
main menu. The specific operating steps are as follows:

Roll the trackball to put the caliper on the end point, and press

Making an Area Flow Volume Method
Function: Area flow is an estimated value of the blood flow that is cal-
culated based on area. Area flow also needs to carry out the area mea-
surement in B mode with Doppler velocity tracing.
Select the corresponding menu items on the toggle Flow Vol-

ume, then select A-Flow.
Move the cursor in the starting point of PW mode image, and

press Set key on the control panel.
Move the cursor to the end point, and press Set key on the con-

trol panel.
Roll the trackball and move the caliper to the B mode image for

area measurement (Refer to Area Measurement in 2D-mode
General measurement for details).
The measuring results will be displayed in the Measurement

result table.
