DPDI Mode

In DPDI Mode, the monitor displays a live color image about blood flow, in-
cluding the direction and the state of blood flow. This function is available
only when the phased array probe is being installed.
Activate DPDI Mode
To activate DPDI Mode,

Optimize the image in DPDI Mode
You can optimize the image in DPDI Mode by adjusting any of the following
controls.

Use Priority to emphasize either the color flow overlay, or the detail of
the underlying gray scale tissue.
Use Persist to enhance the sensitivity of the signal's correlation in the
time domain.
Use Radial Avg. and Lateral Avg. to reduce noise in the color flow area.
Press successively 2D, CFM and Alt on the control panel, and then
click DPDI on the main menu.
