Description
Adjusts the probe's operating frequency. The selected fre-
quency is displayed in the status window. For some
probes/applications the lowest frequency settings will be
Octave imaging settings.
Adjusts the emission line to an angle that best fits the nee-
dle, which enhances the needle image without impacting
the tissue image quality. The echo data of the needle will
be merged with that of the tissue to form the final ultra-
sound image. This function applies only to the B mode
with the linear probe installed.
Enable a mirror image of the 2D image to be created. The
reference marker W moves correspondingly to the other
side of the image. Up/Down is available in both Live and
Freeze.
Flips the 2D image 180 degrees. Left/Right is available in
both Live and Freeze.
Adjusts compound parameter in order to suppress noise.
For linear array probe, Trapez imaging provides a greater
range of vision.
Controls the size or angular width of the 2D image area. A
smaller width corresponds to a higher frame rate.
Adjusts the angle of deflection to display more informa-
tion related to the image without moving the probe. This
function applies only to 2D Mode with the linear probe
installed.
Adjusts the angle of deflection to display more informa-
tion related to the image without moving the probe. This
function applies only to 2D Mode with the phased array
probe installed.
Description
Enables control of the dynamic range or contrast of the
image. When dynamic range is set high, the image is
softer.
Controls the speckle noise suppression of the image.
Controls the extent of the edge-enhancement processing
applied to an image.
Controls the time-domain correlations to suppress image
noise.
Gray scale map can improve image contrast resolution,
noise suppression, and display effects. Map is available in
both Live and Freeze.
