Measurement
Diameter Stenosis Rate and Area Stenosis Rate Measurements
Diameter stenosis rate and area stenosis rate can be set in the Preset or
through the soft menu; refer to distance measurement and ellipse area mea-
surement for its measurement methods, which will not be repeated here.
Volume Measurement
Press the toggle Volume and five volume measurement methods will ap-
pear, as shown below (Refer to the following figure):

Ellipse + Distance method
Access the measurement menu.
STEP 1
Select the toggle Volume, and then select Ellipse + Distance.
STEP 2
Use the trackball and press the Set key on the control panel to
STEP 3
position and fix the mark. press Set key to position an axis of
the ellipse.
Use the trackball and press the Set key on the control panel to
STEP 4
adjust the shape of the ellipse along it's second axis.
Roll the trackball and move the caliper to the starting point of
STEP 5
the line segment, then press Set key on the control panel.
Roll the trackball. Move the caliper to the end point of the line

segment, then press Set key on the control panel to complete
the measurement. The measured results will be displayed in
the Measurement result table.
Formula:
Elliptic long axis D1, Elliptic short axis D2, Segment line D3. For-
mula unit: cm.
3-Distance Method
Function: Use the calipers to measure the three distances of D1 length,
D2 width and D3 thickness of elliptical-shaped objects. The results of
these linear measurements will be accordingly displayed in the Mea-
surement result table of the imaging screen. After the thickness is
measured, the volume will be displayed in the Measurement result ta-
ble.
