Chapter 7 - System Operation
The Soft Menu Controls of The Dual Live Mode
Determine the current imaging mode being one of Color, Power, DPDI, EI,
TVI or SRI mode. The Soft menu controls refer to the corresponding mode
(Color Mode/Power Mode/DPDI Mode/EI Mode/TVI Mode/SRI Mode).
Other Controls of The Dual Live Mode
Determine the current imaging mode being one of Color, Power, DPDI, EI,
TVI or SRI mode. The following controls are responsible for the regulating
the corresponding mode.

In Color/Power/EI/TVI/SRI mode, press Alt key on the control panel.

Optimizing The Dual Live Mode
Determine the current imaging mode being one of Color, Power, DPDI, EI,
TVI or SRI mode. The optimization refers to the corresponding mode (Color
Mode/Power Mode/DPDI Mode/EI Mode/TVI Mode/SRI Mode).

Adjusted by the knob below the TGC on the control panel.
When rotated clockwise, increases the overall gain applied
to the received echo signals equally for all depth.
Compensates for depth-related attenuation in an image.
The sliders nearest the operator affect the far field. TGC
amplifies returning signals to compensate for the attenua-
tion caused by tissue at increasing depths.
Adjusting the depth will influence diagram frame rate and
resolution. Decreasing the depth may allow for higher
frame rate and lower resolution. Increasing the depth will
increase image resolution and decrease frame rate.
Enables multiple image display windows in which two or
four images can be viewed simultaneously.
Display more Main menu controls: Simultaneous, TVI
(phased array probe), Angio, EI (linear array probe and
convex array probe), SRI (phased array probe).
In Color/Power/EI/DPDI/TVI/SRI mode, press Alt key on the control
panel to display more main menu control.
Select Dual Live to access the Dual Live mode.
