Description
Adjusts the transmission frequency to control the sensitiv-
ity and the level of penetration. The selected frequency is
displayed in the status window. Adjusting Frequency may
affect Sample Volume and LVRej settings.
Adjusts the repetition rate of the Doppler pluses transmit-
ted when acquiring the data for color flow mapping. The
Scale (Nyquist limit) should be adjusted so that no aliasing
occurs, while still having good resolution of velocities. The
Nyquist limit should be somewhat above the maximum
velocity found in the data.
LVR, also called wall motion filter, adjusts the extent of low
velocity removal.
Enable a mirror image of the 2D image to be created. The
reference marker W moves correspondingly to the other
side of the image. Up/Down is available in both Live and
Freeze.
Toggles the display layout of the 2D area and M-mode
area, either top/bottom or side by side.
Adjusts the color map to emphasize flow either towards or
away from probe. Baseline is available in both Live and
Freeze.
Description
Inverts the color scheme for positive and negative veloci-
ties. Invert is available in Live and Freeze.
Prioritize colors in the Color mode.
Displays a menu of color map options. Each color map is
assigning different color hues for different velocities.
Controls the amount of acoustic power applied in all
modes. Acoustic power cannot be set above the amount
permitted by the FDA. The Thermal index (TI) and the
Mechanical index (MI) are displayed on the screen.
Description
Adjusted by the knob below the TGC on the control panel.
When rotated clockwise, increases the overall gain applied
to the received echo signals equally for all depth.
