5- Loosen the two screws securing the
gear rack to the end of the throttle
and remove the end of the cable from the
throttle lever. Take care not to lose the
small sleeve from the end of the rack to
which the screws were attached.

CLEANING AND INSPECTING
Check the nylon wear block on the end
of the anti-friction
which index into the inside diameter of the
throttle lever. If the teeth are damaged a
new block may be purchased and slipped into
place. Clean the box halves thoroughly
inside and out with solvent, and then dry
them with compressed air.

throttle idle stop to ensure it moves in and
out freely without any sign of binding.
Throttle Cable Lubrication
If the throttle or shift cables are not to
be replaced, now is an excellent
