PUMP REMOVAL AND
1- Identify
each hose and its location,
then disconnect the vacuum hose and t\\70
fuel hoses from the fuel pump. Remove the
three attaching screws securing the pump to
the engine. Two screws are visible on top of
the pump and the third is hidden behind the
fuel inlet nipple.
2- L\;;ount the fuel pump in a vise, as
shown. Loosen the plastic screw securing
the filter bowI to the pump.
3- Swing the hinge down and lift the fuel
bowl free of the pump.
