Vorbereitung
An das HF-Gerät können folgende Fußschalter
angeschlossen werden:

4. 4. 1 Automatische Testfunktion

Das HF-Gerät führt automatisch einen zyklischen
Test während des Betriebs durch. Wenn Fehler
auftreten, siehe Kapitel Fehler erkennen und
beheben, Seite 79.
4. 4. 2 Funktionsprüfung durchführen
Vor der Inbetriebnahme des Geräts die folgende
Funktionsprüfung durchführen:
1 Das Zubehör muss für die angegebene
Höchstspannung ausgelegt sein.
1. Die Neutralelektrode anschließen und diese am
Arm festkleben.
Die EASY Neutralelektroden-Überwachung
springt auf Grün.
2. Die Neutralelektrode wieder ablösen.
Der Indikator springt auf Rot, Signaltöne
ertönen.

Die Neutralelektrode darf nach diesem Test
nicht mehr für eine Operation verwendet
werden.
3. Bei Vorliegen eines grünen EASY-Indikators einen
unipolaren HF-Handgriff an eine unipolare Buchse
anschließen und »Schneiden« und »Koagulieren«
jeweils per Hand- und Fußschalter aktivieren.
4. Die Einstellungen an der Anzeige prüfen.
5. Zum bipolaren Ausgang wechseln und eine
bipolare Pinzette anschließen.
6. Einen Modus mit AUTOSTART wählen, einen
feuchten Mull mit der Pinzette fassen und die
Anzeige prüfen.

Test for proper functioning

4. 4. 1 Automatic test function

The HF device automatically performs cyclic
testing during operation. If any errors occur,
see section Recognizing and remedying errors,
page 79.
4. 4. 2 Performing the test for proper
functioning
Perform the following functional test before putting
the device into service:
1 The accessories must be designed for the
specified maximum voltage.
1. Connect the neutral electrode and attach it
securely to the patient's arm.
The EASY neutral electrode indicator changes
to green.
2. Remove the neutral electrode.
The indicator changes to red, acoustic signals
sound.
1 The neutral electrode used for this test may
not later be used for an operation.
3. Connect a unipolar HF handpiece to a unipolar
socket if there is a green EASY indicator and
use the manual switch and footswitch to
individually activate 'Cut' and 'Coag'.
4. Check the settings on the display.
5. Now change to the bipolar output and connect
bipolar forceps.
6. Select a mode with AUTOSTART, grasp moist
gauze with the forceps, and check the display.

Prueba de funcionamiento

4. 4. 1 Función automática de prueba
El aparato de AF lleva a cabo automáticamente
una prueba cíclica durante el funcionamiento. Si
se producen errores, véase el capítulo Detección y
subsanación de errores en la pág. 79.
4. 4. 2 Comprobación del
funcionamiento
Antes de poner en marcha el aparato, compruebe
el funcionamiento:
1 Los accesorios han de estar diseñados para
la máxima tensión especificada.
1. Conecte el electrodo neutro y fíjelo al brazo.
El control EASY de electrodos neutros cambia
a verde.
2. A continuación, suelte el electrodo neutro.
El indicador cambia a rojo y se emiten señales
acústicas.
1 Una vez finalizada esta prueba, el electrodo
neutro ya no debe utilizarse para una
operación.
3. Si el indicador EASY está encendido de color
verde, conecte un mango de AF unipolar a un
conector unipolar y active "Cortar" y "Coagular"
con el interruptor manual y el interruptor de
pedal respectivamente.
4. Compruebe los ajustes en la pantalla.
5. Cambie a la salida bipolar y conecte unas
pinzas bipolares.
6. Seleccione un modo con AUTOSTART, sujete
una gasa húmeda con las pinzas y compruebe
el indicador.
