Sicherheit
Zusätzliche Geräte, die an medizinische elektrische
Geräte angeschlossen werden, müssen
nachweisbar ihren entsprechenden IEC oder
ISO Normen entsprechen (z. B. IEC 60950 für
datenverarbeitende Geräte). Weiterhin müssen alle
Konfigurationen den normativen Anforderungen
für medizinische Systeme entsprechen (siehe
IEC 60601-1-1 oder Abschnitt 16 der 3. Ausgabe
der IEC 60601-1, jeweilig). Wer zusätzliche Geräte
an medizinische elektrische Geräte anschließt, ist
Systemkonfigurierer und ist damit verantwortlich,
dass das System mit den normativen
Anforderungen für Systeme übereinstimmt. Es
wird darauf hingewiesen, dass lokale Gesetze
gegenüber obigen normativen Anforderungen
Vorrang haben. Bei Rückfragen kontaktieren

1 Zum Schutz des Personals empfiehlt
KARL STORZ die Verwendung
einer Rauchgasabsaugung, um
elektrochirurgischen Rauch abzusaugen.
Hierzu empfehlen wir die Verwendung
des KARL STORZ S-PILOT
mit welchem in Kombination mit dem
AUTOCON ® III 400 (plus Verbindungskabel
UP 004) eine automatische Rauchabsaugung
gewährleistet werden kann.

e Das HF-Gerät nicht in unmittelbarer Umgebung
des Patienten betreiben. Die von KARL STORZ
empfohlenen Mindestabstände beachten
(siehe Abb. 1).

Fehlfunktionen oder die Zerstörung des Herz-
Schrittmachers können zur Lebensgefahr oder zu
irreversibler Verletzung des Patienten führen.
e Bei Patienten mit Herz-Schrittmachern vor der
Anwendung der HF-Chirurgie den Kardiologen

konsultieren.
Safety
Additional equipment connected to medical
electrical equipment must verifiably comply
with the respective IEC or ISO standards (e.g.
IEC 60950 for data processing equipment).
Furthermore, all configurations shall comply with
the standard requirements for medical systems
(see IEC 60601-1-1 or Clause 16 of the 3rd Ed. of
IEC 60601-1, respectively). Anybody connecting
additional equipment to medical electrical
equipment is a system configurator and is
therefore responsible for the system's compliance
with the standard requirements for systems.
Please note that local laws take priority over the
above-mentioned standard requirements. If in
doubt, please contact your local specialist dealer
or the Technical Support, see section Technical
Support, page 100.

recommends the use of a smoke evacuator
to extract electrosurgical smoke. To this
end we recommend the KARL STORZ
S-PILOT UP 501 which, in combination

extraction.

e Do not use the HF device in the immediate
vicinity of the patient. Observe the minimum
distances recommended by KARL STORZ
(see Fig. 1).
2. 4. 2 Patients with pacemakers
Malfunction or destruction of the pacemaker
can endanger the life of the patient or result in
irreversible injuries to the patient.
e In the case of patients with pacemakers,
consult the cardiologist before carrying out HF
surgery.

una certificación que acredite el cumplimiento

1 Con fines de protección del personal,
KARL STORZ recomienda la utilización de
un sistema de aspiración de humos para la
evacuación del humo electroquirúrgico. A
este efecto recomendamos utilizar el sistema
® III 400 (plus connecting S-PILOT
permite asegurar una aspiración automática
de humos al utilizarlo en combinación con el
AUTOCON
UP 004).

e No utilice el aparato de AF en el entorno
inmediato del paciente. Observe las distancias
mínimas recomendadas por KARL STORZ
(véase la fig. 1).
2. 4. 2 Pacientes con marcapasos
Los errores de funcionamiento o la destrucción del
marcapasos pueden poner en peligro la vida del
paciente o provocar lesiones irreversibles.
e En caso de pacientes con marcapasos,
consulte al cardiólogo antes de aplicar la
cirugía de AF.
