Sicherheit
•
Darauf achten, dass keine Implantate
(z. B. Knochennägel, Knochenplatten,
Endoprothesen) im Stromweg liegen.
•
Sicherstellen, dass am
Neutralelektroden-Anschluss kein
Kurzschluss entstehen kann.
•
Stellen vermeiden, an denen sich
Flüssigkeiten ansammeln können.
•
Möglichst geteilte Neutralelektroden
mit einer ausreichend groß
bemessenen Fläche verwenden
(Patientenalter und max. verfügbare
Leistung während der OP
berücksichtigen).
Vor dem Applizieren der Neutralelektrode
e Starken Haarwuchs entfernen.
e Die Applikationsstelle reinigen und keinen
Alkohol verwenden, da dieser die Haut
austrocknet und den Übergangswiderstand
erhöht.
e Bei schlechter Durchblutung die
Applikationsstelle massieren oder bürsten.
e Die Neutralelektrode ganzflächig und
gleichmäßig applizieren. Wiederverwendbare
Neutralelektroden mit Gummibändern oder
elastischer Binde sichern, so dass sie sich bei
Bewegungen des Patienten nicht lösen. Dabei
sicherstellen, dass kein Durchblutungsmangel
entsteht (Gefahr von Nekrosen).
e Keinesfalls nasse Tücher oder Elektropasten
verwenden.
e Sicherstellen, dass keine Flüssigkeiten (z. B.
Spülflüssigkeiten, Desinfektionsmittel, Blut,
Urin) zwischen Patient und Neutralelektrode
gelangen.
e Die Neutralelektrode nicht unter Gesäß oder
Rücken des Patienten legen.
e Sicherstellen, dass keine EKG-Elektroden im
Strompfad des HF-Geräts liegen.
e Die Neutralelektrode auf Beschädigung bzw.
Funktion prüfen.
e Defektes Zubehör sofort austauschen.
Safety
•
Ensure that there are no implants
(e.g. bone nails, bone plates or
endoprostheses) in the current path.
•
Ensure that no short circuits can
occur at the neutral electrode
connection.
•
Avoid areas where fluids may collect.
•
As far as possible, use split neutral
electrodes with a sufficiently large
surface area (patient age and max.
output power during operation have
to be considered).
Before applying the neutral electrode
e Remove excess body hair.
e Clean the application site, but do not use any
alcohol, since it dries out the skin and increases
the transition resistance.
e If the patient has poor circulation, massage or
brush the application site.
e Attach the neutral electrode over the entire
contact surface evenly. Secure reusable neutral
electrodes with rubber bands or elastic straps
so that they do not loosen when the patient
moves. Ensure that the patient's circulation is
not impaired (risk of necrosis).
e Never use wet cloths or conductive pastes.
e Ensure that no liquids (e.g. cleaning fluids,
disinfectants, blood or urine) penetrate between
the patient and the neutral electrode.
e Do not place the neutral electrode under the
patient's buttocks or back.
e Ensure that there are no ECG electrodes in the
current path of the HF device.
e Check the neutral electrode for damage and to
ensure that it is working properly.
e Replace defective accessories immediately.
Seguridad
•

e Elimine el vello grueso.
e Limpie la zona de aplicación sin utilizar alcohol,
puesto que este seca la piel e incrementa la
resistencia de paso.
e Si la circulación sanguínea es deficiente,
efectúe un masaje o cepillado sobre la zona de
aplicación.
e Aplique el electrodo neutro de forma uniforme
en toda su superficie. Asegure los electrodos
neutros reutilizables con bandas de goma o
una venda elástica, de modo que no puedan
soltarse con los movimientos del paciente. A
este respecto, cerciórese de que la circulación
sanguínea sea suficiente (para evitar el riesgo
de necrosis).
e No utilice nunca paños húmedos o pasta
conductora.
e Asegúrese de que no penetra ningún líquido (p.
ej., líquidos de irrigación, desinfectante, sangre,
orina) entre el paciente y el electrodo neutro.
e No coloque el electrodo neutro bajo los glúteos
o la espalda del paciente.
e Compruebe que no haya ningún electrodo de
ECG en la vía de corriente del aparato de AF.
e Asegúrese de que el electrodo neutro no
presente deterioros y funcione correctamente.
e Cambie de inmediato los accesorios
defectuosos por otros nuevos.
