niedrig wie möglich einstellen.
Korrekte Verwendung des Zubehörs
e Nur isoliertes Zubehör verwenden.
e Alle Elektroden auf scharfe Kanten und
überstehende Teile vor der Anwendung prüfen.
e Nur einwandfreie Elektroden verwenden.
e Aktive Elektroden nie auf oder neben dem
Patienten ablegen. Darauf achten, dass
die Elektroden den Patienten weder direkt
noch indirekt (durch elektrisch leitfähige
Gegenstände) berühren können.
e Elektroden, die zeitweise nicht benutzt werden,
dürfen den Patient nicht berühren.
e Legen Sie Instrumente an einen sicheren Ort
ab: steril, trocken, nicht leitend, gut einsehbar.
Abgelegte Instrumente dürfen mit dem
Pa tienten, dem medizinischen Personal und
brennbaren Materialien nicht in Berührung
kommen.
e Heiße Elektroden nicht unmittelbar nach dem
Schneiden oder Koagulieren aus dem Körper
entfernen.
e Einen ausreichenden Abstand zwischen den
Patientenkabeln und den Kabeln des HF-Geräts
sicherstellen.
e Die Patientenkabel nicht über den Patienten führen.
2. 5 Produktbezogene
Sicherheitshinweise
Produkte von KARL STORZ sind nach dem
aktuellen Stand der Technik und anerkannten
sicherheitstechnischen Regeln entwickelt worden.
Dennoch können bei ihrem Betrieb Gefahren für
Leib und Leben des Benutzers oder Dritter bzw.
Beeinträchtigungen des Produkts und anderer
Sachwerte entstehen.
e Nur von KARL STORZ zugelassenes Zubehör
verwenden, siehe Kapitel Zubehör/Ersatzteile,
Seite 216.

Correct use of accessories
e Only use insulated accessories.
e Check all electrodes for sharp edges and
projecting parts before use.
e Only use electrodes that are free of defects and
in good working order.
e Never place active electrodes on or near the
patient. Ensure that the electrodes cannot
come into direct or indirect contact (through
electrically conductive objects) with the patient.
e Electrodes which are not currently in use must
not come into contact with the patient.
e Place the instruments in a safe place: sterile,
dry, non-conductive, clearly visible. Instruments
which have been placed down must not come
into contact with the patient, the medical
personnel, or flammable materials.
e Do not remove hot electrodes from the patient's
body directly after cutting or coagulation.
e Ensure that there is sufficient distance between
the patient cables and the cables of the HF
device.
e Do not run the patient cables across the
patient.
2. 5 Product-related safety
instructions
Devices manufactured by KARL STORZ are
developed in accordance with the current state of
technology and generally accepted safety rules.
Despite this, using these products can lead to
risks to the life and health of the user or third
parties and/or damage to the device or other
objects.
e Only use accessories approved by
KARL STORZ, see section Accessories/
Replacement parts, page 216.

deben tocar el paciente.
e Deposite los instrumentos en un lugar seguro:
estéril, seco, no conductivo y bien visible. Los
instrumentos depositados no deben entrar en
contacto con el paciente, el personal médico o
materiales inflamables.
e No extraiga los electrodos calientes fuera del cuer-
po inmediatamente después de cortar o coagular.
e Asegúrese de que entre los cables del paciente
y los cables del aparato de AF haya distancia
suficiente.
e No guíe los cables del paciente por encima de
este.
2. 5 Indicaciones de seguridad
específicas del producto
Los productos de KARL STORZ han sido
desarrollados conforme al estado actual de la
tecnología y de acuerdo con las normas técnicas
de seguridad reconocidas. No obstante, durante
el servicio pueden producirse riesgos para la
integridad física y la vida del usuario o de terceros,
así como deterioros en el producto y en otros
bienes materiales.
