Sicherheit
Das HF-Gerät darf nicht angewendet werden,
wenn nach Meinung eines erfahrenen Arztes
oder gemäß der aktuellen Fachliteratur eine
solche Anwendung eine Gefährdung des
Patienten hervorrufen würde, z. B. aufgrund des
Allgemeinzustands des Patienten, oder wenn
andere Kontraindikationen vorliegen.

KARL STORZ setzt voraus, dass das HF-
Gerät unter der Aufsicht von qualifiziertem
oder befugtem Personal betrieben wird. Der
Chirurg und das medizinische Fachpersonal
müssen in Grundlagen, Anwendungsregeln
und Risiken der HF-Chirurgie geschult
und auch damit vertraut sein, um eine
Gefährdung von Patient, Personal und
Geräten sicher und zuverlässig zu vermeiden.

1 Jegliche andere Verwendung gilt als nicht
bestimmungsgemäß und ist auszuschließen.

Sicherheitshinweise
e Sicherstellen, dass keine elektronischen Geräte
im Umfeld des HF-Geräts aufgestellt sind, die
durch elektromagnetische Felder beeinträchtigt
werden können.
e Die Hinweise zur elektromagnetischen
Verträglichkeit (EMV) beachten, siehe Kapitel
EMV, Seite 217.

WARNUNG: Gefahr eines elektrischen
Schlages!
e Das HF-Gerät nur an ein Versorgungsnetz mit
Schutzleiter anschließen, um einen elektrischen
Schlag zu vermeiden.
e Achten Sie darauf, dass am Aufstellort die
Zugänglichkeit zum Netzstecker gewährleistet
bleibt. Das Gerät ist nur vollständig von der
Netzspannung getrennt, wenn der Netzstecker
abgezogen ist.
Safety
The HF device must not be used if, in the
opinion of an experienced physician or
according to current specialist literature, such
an application would endanger the patient, e.g.
due to the patient's general condition, or if other
contraindications are present.

operated under the supervision of qualified
and authorized personnel. The surgeon
and medical staff must be trained in the
fundamental principles, rules for use and
risks of HF surgery and must be familiar with
these in order to safely and reliably prevent
putting patients, staff and equipment at risk.

e Ensure that no electronic devices that are
subject to interference from electromagnetic
fields are set up in the vicinity of the HF device.
e Observe the instructions on electromagnetic
compatibility provided in section EMC,
page 217.

WARNING: Danger of electric shock!
e Always connect the HF device to a mains
power system with a protective conductor in
order to prevent electric shock.
e Ensure constant access to the power plug at
the site of installation. The line voltage to the
device is only definitively disconnected once the
power plug has been unplugged.

seguridad
e Asegúrese de que en las inmediaciones del
aparato de AF no se encuentre ningún aparato
electrónico cuyo funcionamiento pueda resultar
menoscabado debido a la aparición de campos
electromagnéticos.

CUIDADO: Peligro de descarga eléctrica.
e Conecte el aparato de AF únicamente a una red
de alimentación con conductor de protección a
fin de evitar una descarga eléctrica.
e Asegúrese de que en el lugar de
emplazamiento haya libre acceso a un enchufe
de red. El aparato solo está completamente
desconectado de la tensión de la red si se ha
extraído el enchufe de la red.
