Anwendung am Beispiel der Einmal-
Elektrode
e Die Schutzfolie abziehen und die Einmal-
Elektrode aufkleben. Dabei sicherstellen, dass
die Einmal-Elektrode mit der längeren Kante
zum Operationsgebiet vollflächigen Hautkontakt
hat. Eine Überhöhung der Stromdichte an der
kurzen Kante wird dadurch vermieden.
e Die selbstklebende Einmal-Elektrode mit beiden
Händen fest auf die Haut aufdrücken.
e Die Elektroladenlasche an das Elektrodenkabel
anklemmen.
e Nach der Operation die Einmal-Elektrode
vorsichtig abziehen, um Hautschäden zu
vermeiden.
Bei einteiliger Neutralelektrode
e Die einteilige Neutralelektrode während der OP
prüfen.
e Sicherstellen, dass die einteilige
Neutralelektrode nicht am Gerät gesperrt ist.
Bei geteilter Neutralelektrode
e Die geteilte Neutralelektrode korrekt und ohne
zusätzliche Gegenstände anbringen, da das
HF-Gerät die Überbrückung der Teilflächen
durch sonstige Gegenstände nicht erkennt.
e Darauf achten, dass der HF-Strom gleichmäßig
auf beide Flächen der geteilten Neutralelektrode
zurückfließt.

Example application using a disposable
electrode
e Remove the protective film and attach the self-
adhesive disposable electrode to the patient.
Ensure that the long edge of the disposable
electrode faces the operation site and the
electrode is fully in contact with the skin. This
avoids excessive current concentration on the
short edge.
e Using both hands, press the self-adhesive
disposable electrode firmly against the patient's
skin.
e Clamp the electrode tab to the electrode cable.
e After the operation, remove the disposable
electrode carefully to avoid skin damage.
With a one-piece neutral electrode
e Check the one-piece neutral electrode during
surgery.
e Ensure that the one-piece electrode is not
blocked at the device.
With a split neutral electrode
e Apply the split neutral electrode correctly and
without any additional objects, as the HF device
does not recognize the bridging of the split
surfaces with other objects.
e Ensure that the HF current flows equally to both
parts of the split neutral electrode.

Ejemplo de utilización del electrodo
desechable
e Retire la lámina protectora y adhiera el
electrodo desechable. Al hacerlo, asegúrese
de que el eletrodo desechable, con el lado
largo orientado hacia la zona de operación,
mantenga contacto en toda su superficie con
la piel. De este modo, se evita un incremento
excesivo de la densidad de corriente en el lado
corto.
e Apriete el electrodo desechable autoadhesivo
firmemente sobre la piel con ambas manos.
e Fije la lengüeta de carga del electrodo al cable
de electrodos.
e Una vez finalizada la operación, retire el
electrodo desechable con cuidado para evitar
lesiones en la piel.
Con electrodos neutros de una sola pieza
e Compruebe el electrodo neutro de una pieza
durante la operación.
e Asegúrese de que el electrodo de una pieza no
esté bloqueado en el aparato.
Con electrodos neutros de dos piezas
e Coloque el electrodo neutro de dos piezas
correctamente y sin objetos adicionales, puesto
que estos impiden que el aparato de AF
reconozca el puenteo de las superficies de las
piezas.
e Asegúrese de que la corriente de AF fluya
de retorno de forma uniforme por ambas
superficies de los electrodos neutros de dos
piezas.
