4. 3. 2 Instrumentarium für bipolare
Anwendung
1. Das Bipolarkabel und das Instrument, z. B. die
Pinzette, zusammenstecken.
2. Das Bipolarkabel an eine der beiden bipolaren
Anschlussbuchsen anschließen.
3. Bei bipolarer Anwendung ohne AUTOSTART
den Fußschalter anschließen.
– oder –
Einen Modus mit AUTOSTART-Funktion an der
entsprechenden Buchse wählen.
Bei Kontaktschluss und nach der eingestellten
Reaktionszeit startet die Anwendung.

bipolaren Instrumenten in einen metallischen
Trokar deaktivieren!
4. 3. 3 Fußschalter anschließen
Neben dem Handschalter steht der Fußschalter
zur Aktivierung unterschiedlicher Betriebsmodi zur
Verfügung.
e Während der OP nur den gewünschten
Fußschalter an eine der beiden
Anschlussbuchsen für Fußschalter anschließen.
Das HF-Gerät erkennt automatisch den
angeschlossenen Fußschalter und meldet dies
durch die Anzeige auf der Vorderseite und unter
Angabe der verwendeten Anschlussbuchse.
1 Ein Zweipedal-Fußschalter und ein Einpedal-
Fußschalter können angeschlossen werden.
Fußschalter ohne »Umschalttaster« (Taster für
Umschaltfunktion) können nicht verwendet
werden (siehe Tabelle).
Während der OP darf zusätzlich zum
Fußschalter lediglich die Verbindung zum
Argon-Beamer mit Lichtwellenleitern
und gegebenenfalls die Verbindung zum
KARL STORZ OR1™ control NEO System
auf der Rückseite des Geräts eingesteckt
sein.

application
1. Connect the bipolar cable to the instrument
(e.g. forceps).
2. Connect the bipolar cable to one of the two
bipolar connection sockets.
3. For bipolar use without AUTOSTART, connect
the footswitch.
– or –
Select a mode with AUTOSTART function at
the corresponding socket.
Once the instrument is connected, the
application starts after the configured reaction
time.
1 When introducing bipolar instruments into
a metal trocar, the AUTOSTART function
should be disabled beforehand!

4. 3. 3 Connecting the footswitch

In addition to the manual switch, a footswitch can
be used to activate various operating modes.
e Connect the desired footswitch only during
operation to one of the two connection sockets
for footswitches.
The HF device automatically detects the
connected footswitch and indicates this on
the front panel display, including the selected
connection socket.
1 One dual-pedal footswitch and one single-
pedal footswitch can be connected.
Footswitches without a changeover switch
cannot be used (see table).
During the operation, in addition to the
footswitch, only the connection to the
Argon beamer with fiber-optic cables and, if
relevant, the connection to the KARL STORZ
OR1™ control NEO system may be plugged
into the rear of the device.

bipolares
1. Conecte el cable bipolar y el instrumento, p. ej.,
las pinzas.
2. Conecte el cable bipolar a uno de los dos
conectores bipolares.
3. En caso de aplicación bipolar, conecte el
interruptor de pedal sin AUTOSTART.

Seleccione un modo con función AUTOSTART
en el conector correspondiente.
La aplicación se inicia con el cierre de contacto
y después de transcurrido el tiempo de
reacción ajustado.
1 Desactive la función AUTOSTART antes de
introducir instrumentos bipolares en un trocar
metálico.
4. 3. 3 Conexión del interruptor de pedal
Junto al interruptor manual se encuentra
disponible el interruptor de pedal para la
activación de diferentes modos de servicio.
e Durante la operación, conecte solo el
interruptor de pedal que desee utilizar a uno de
los dos conectores para interruptor de pedal.
El aparato de AF reconoce automáticamente
el interruptor de pedal conectado y lo indica
en la parte delantera especificando el conector
empleado.
1 Pueden conectarse un interruptor de doble
pedal y un interruptor monopedal. No
pueden utilizarse interruptores de pedal sin
"pulsador conmutador" (pulsador para la
función de conmutación) (véase la tabla).
Durante la operación, además del interruptor
de pedal únicamente está permitida la
conexión con el coagulador de argón con
fibras ópticas y, dado el caso, la conexión
con el sistema KARL STORZ OR1™ control
NEO en la parte trasera del aparato.
