4.3 Installing Sealing Components in the Scenarios with a
Column
4.3.1 Installing Sealing Plates and Skylight Connective Plates
Context
If a column exists between cabinets and the aisle and a cabinet cannot be installed in the space
near the column, you need to install sealing plates. There are different types of sealing plates.
Choose appropriate ones depending on the column size and installation policy.
Table 4-2 Types of sealing plates

300 mm wide, 2000 mm high sealing plate
300 mm wide, 2200 mm high sealing plate
600 mm wide, 2000 mm high sealing plate
600 mm wide, 2200 mm high sealing plate
800 mm wide, 2000 mm high sealing plate
800 mm wide, 2200 mm high sealing plate
Procedure
Step 1 Apply a sealing rubber strip to the side of the sealing plate that is near the cabinet, and then
install the sealing plate close to the column. If there is no cabinet on the side opposite the
column, you also need to install a sealing plate and align it with the adjacent skylight side
panel.
The flanges on the sealing kit are against the pillar.
Step 2 Secure the skylight connective plate to the sealing plate or cabinet using bolts.
